Once a while, one may come across an article about how someone is very familiar with a place that he and she is visiting for the first time and then when we think that's about all, that person may surprised everyone by saying that or she has been there in a past life. In certain cases, he or she may even recognize someone there to be his or her next of kin. Buddhists would explain this as being a case of rebirth and Hindus, reincarnation; two supposedly different concepts. Recently, in FB, there was a story about a 20-year-old Russian who claimed to have lived in Mars in a previous life. While earthlings breathe in oxygen, Martians, he said breathe in carbon dioxide and they are seven feet tall. Mars, as we know presently, is a red planet with no life form but there's a report of evidence on the existence of aliens there in the past. Both may be fake news perhaps but the idea of an earthling who was a Martian in a previous life, certainly brings both rebirth and reincarnation to a different level.
