Buddhist temples in Taiping would be crowded with people today. It's Vesak Day and on the eve, Miss Ng had phoned me to see if I would be visiting Taiping Buddhist Society or TBS short, a Mahayana temple patronized mostly by Chinese. Well, I did not plan to visit any temple at all, preferring to stay at home and avoid the crowd and heat but since Miss Ng had called, we made a pact to have breakfast with Mr. How, too the next day at 8 a.m. and together, we made for TBS. We ended up visiting one temple too many! After TBS, we have visited a Thai Buddhist temple and a Sri Lankan Buddhist temple in Assam Kumbang...Taiping Buddhist Society...
