All work and no food would probably make us very hungry! But alas, there was food not just for us but for all the devotees who came up SSB to celebrate Vesak. Some people probably were there earlier in the morning since there was a Dhamma talk then. Some probably had left but there was still a big crowd around. Unlike Taiping Buddhist Society (TBS), the food served here included meat dishes. The former of course leans toward the Mahayana tradition while SSB is more Theravada in nature. Food aside, whether vegetarian or not, you'd probably just want to hear the Dhamma. Now, come to think about it, is it the food or the Dhamma that matters?
