Middle-aged Americans who spearheaded the sexual revolution in the 60s by promoting free love, reportedly are very unhappy about their sex lives. Some 24 percent of these people say they are dissatisfied and that is an awful lot if you compare it with the other groups of Americans. Comparatively, only 12 percent of Americans from the age group 18- to 29 are dissatisfied and 17 percent of those over 65 are dissatisfied. A sex therapist, Dr. Ruth Westheimer said that the older people can learn new tricks which I take to mean that they have a reason to be happy. The younger Americans needless to say, being new in the sex games and being still ignorant, should be happy with whatever sex available, even bad sex. This of course, is not to say that good sex would bring real joy. I remember reading in a Buddhist literature that the real joy in life is not to be found in sex. There is supposed to be a higher form of joy elsewhere...
