Contents Does matter!















If you walk into a church and see the members of the congregation sitting smartly on the pews, you'd probably start to wonder why you have to take off your shoes and sit on the floor when you go to a Buddhist temple to listen to a Dhamma talk. A friend of mine had in fact, wondered about that years ago and commented that Buddhist temples should go along with the times and there ought to be chairs there for devotees to sit on. Not that sitting on chairs would make anyone smarter. Somewhere in the Net, there has been a report that classrooms in countries with the highest-performing students contain very little tech wizardry. Of course, there are chairs in these classrooms. There are rows of desks even and the students probably stare up at a teacher who stands in front of a chalkboard. The point is the content of a religion matters...
