A Buddha bust, I suppose is a very attractive decorative item. Occasionaly, I see in magazines or in Western movies, a Buddha bust decorating the living room of a house. Sometimes, I wonder if these Buddha heads were cut off from statues in ancient temples in ancient cities in some Asian countries like for example,
Ayutthaya, Thailand; for indeed there have been records of such cases; but never once have I wonder why a Jesus's head has never so used; as decorative piece, I mean. Buddhists don't give that a thought, I suppose; and if they do, they probably don't give a damn. I can't remember a time when Buddhists go frenzy in the street and demonstrate over the issue or other issues for that matter; not even letting out a whimper.
