Someone send a video to a WhatsApp group I was in; a video where Buddha was said to have prophesied the coming of Jesus Christ. The evidence is supposed to be inscribed on the wall of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai and it was claimed that Buddha told his disciples to wait for the coming of Christ. Nevermind if the message is in Thailand and not is some ancient temples in some Buddhist holy sites. Never mind too if the lady was just trying to proselytize; but I figure she ought to believe in Buddha too to have believed that he had predicted the coming of Jesus Christ. I bet she would accept another of Buddha's prediction about the coming of Maitreya,
the future Buddha who will first appear on Earth as a bodhisattva and teach the pure dharma. Or has she mistaken Maitreya for Jesus Christ?
