Looking Forward to Aniccā

Aniccā or impermanence is Buddhism's three marks of existence, the other two being duḥkha unsatisfactoriness or suffering and anattā non-self. It has been pointed out that delusion about these three marks often result in sufferings. In the case of aniccā, it does cause sufferings sometimes, depending on what that is impermanent. I suppose if you have a face like Robert Pattinson  or Thylane Blondeau who once had been named the most handsome man and most beautiful woman in the world, you wouldn't want that change. Things we like and get attached to; we definitely do not want to see them change. I suppose if you are in debt, you'd like to see yourself coming out of it immediately. The same could be said of the situation in the world now when there is a serious outbreak of COVID-19 virus. Who wouldn't want to see the situation change? Some changes you definitely do look forward to, some you don't. When I watch the short video on the evolution of dance below, I marvel at the changes that have taken place and look forward to more...
