Ajahn Brahm , a British-Australian Theravada Buddhist Monk was born Peter Betts in London. A student of theoretical physics at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, he had travelled to Thailand to become a monk. Presently, he is the Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery, in Serpentine, Western Australia.
