Something about Corona

Did U.S. report 83,757 new Covid-19 cases yesterday?  In the local front, over 800 cases were reported and already we thought that was serious. The Kedah Chief Minister had a few weeks ago commented that more people die of dengue fever than Covid-19; undermining its seriousness and then last Sunday, someone ask if the pandemic has to do with group karma. Group karma, I read is the result of making a decision to act in a certain way by a group of people and the group of people will experience the collective consequences of their decision. In the case of the pandemic, I wonder if anyone has make any decision at all. Then of course, is there a need to use karma to explain everything?
