I Wonder

Alas, I finally completed watching the final episode of The Rebel Princess 上陽賦  Shàngyáng Fù. The 2021 Chinese fictional costume drama runs a whopping 68 episodes but it was rather fast pace and thus, a breeze to watch. The Rebel Princess stars Zhang Ziyi in her first TV role. In one scene; confronted with a problem, she had prayed to the Buddha for help. Then she had wondered if Buddha could help. Do you think Buddha hear me? She asked. So, many people pray to Buddha to solve their problems. Can he hear so many people when he has only two ears? For a moment, I wonder about Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva who is often depicted with a thousand hands and eyes. I wonder too about right views.
