Once a while I either read or hear of people saying that Buddhists don't believe in God. Yet, I read of Buddha talking to a God called Sakka. Buddha is further said to be often portrayed as having conversations with deities. That he sometimes gives them spiritual instructions or exposed them as pompous blowhards perhaps suggest that man indeed is an image of God. And that probably means too that man must have a capability of helping himself instead of praying for favours.
