Punna in Pali means that which purfies the mind. Kiriya means that which ought to be done while vatthu means the basis for prosperity. Put together, the word punnakiriyavatthu is taken to mean bases of meritorious actions to which there are 10 domains. I suppose that would be a good guide to determine what are good wholesome right actions. What do you think?
