Hurry Home!

A friend sent this story about a religious Indian man who while on the road in the US suffered a heart attack. When he was picked up by an ambulance; being the religious man he was, he kept murmuring: Hari Om, Hari Om, Hari Om. The paramedics sent the Indian man home immediately but his wife who came out to receive him was astounded. Why didn't you take him straight to the hospital?, she screamed; to which the paramedics  replied that the Indian man had kept on saying, Hurry home, Hurry home, Hurry home!  The story is supposed to showcase the importance of speaking English during emergency. That is even when praying; a person is advIsed not to do so in others languages. Buddha, a human himself probably understood Magahi, the language of the kingdom of Magadha; maybe a few other Northern Indian dialects as a monk speculated since the Buddha had spent a big portion of his life travelling, teaching and interacting with the people there but he most certainly wouldn't be able to converse in English; then the British had not got to colonising India yet and taught the people the language. God being God however  and all knowing; would he not understand a foreign tongue?
