Oh, there had been a call by a mufti for the authorities to take prompt action to curb the spread of the idea of reincarnation among Muslims in the country. Apparently, a Muslim preacher had mentioned about the transfer of the soul from a dead person to the body of another living person and the video had gone viral. The mufti had said that reincarnation is utterly absurd according to his religion. Hindus and Buddhists were said to believe in reincarnation; which if it refers to the transmigration of the soul of a dead person to another body wouldn't go well with Buddhists who don't believe in the existence of this permanent entity called soul perhaps. Instead of reincarnation, Buddhism does preach the idea of rebirth however; another absurd idea perhaps to non believers...
