Right Speech, Good Speech

While we are at right speech, sometimes we tend to overlook good speech.  In Bhikku Cintita's Buddhist Life/ Buddhist Path I think I read that according to Buddha, a speech besides being right, ought to be well spoken and has these characteristics of being good: truthful, not idle or frivolous talk, beneficial, spoken gently at the right time and comes from a kind mind. Mmm...that's food for thought.
