An Indian friend had sent me a short quiz as a run up to Chinese New Year. I told her proudly that I knew all the answer to the questions. There are things synonymous with Chinese New Year; things like oranges, ang pows, firecrackers, nian gao, lion dance, God of Wealth etc but definitely not Alice in Wonderland. 2023 may be the year of the rabbit and Alice may have followed a rabbit down a hole; but it does still appear farfetched that a temple in Malaysia is holding a Chinese New Year Lantern and Floral Festival with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Never mind that this has nothing to do with Chinese New Year but since it involves a Buddhist temple, one may just wonder if this has something to do with dhamma...
