Musing : Halal or Haram?

A picture I came across in the social media looks like food for thought.
All our pork is 100 per cent halal. Halal, an Arabic word meaning permissible; more often than not, refers to pork free food which is permissible to Muslim. The opposite of halal of course is haram and pork being haram is forbidden for consumption by them. Jews, I heard, don't take pork too; but not sure if they would specifically look for restaurants with a halal sign. Vegetarians or vegans probably don't go looking for their brand of halal food even though they don't eat pork or other kind of meat meat and Buddhists too; who although frown on killing of animals; the majority still eat them anyway as long as the animals are dead and have not been slaughtered in their names. As for pork, when do you think the meat is haram or halal?
