There are a number of Chinese lion dance styles but the two most popular are the northern and southern lion dance. The more contemporary style, the Hok San style, however, combines a southern lion head with Northern lion movements. While the dragon dance is still around, there are definitely changes.

Ehhhh... what do you want.... the time is so now. Everything has to be done or mixed or from the other end... like those probiotic bacteria that the sellers say arrive alive in the gut if you eat their yoghurt, but the truth is, to have them alive you have to introduce them through... from the other end. So, the Lion is more fortunate, I think...
