Children Dhamma: No Fun!

Once, I went over to Taiping Sentral and saw a big crowd there. Why, there was a show on and what a crowd puller it was! That reminded me of a lady I know who told me and several other friends about her three young children who were attracted to the fun activities in the church just near their house. They wanted to go to the church to participate in the activities but since the Buddhist mom wanted them to learn Buddhism, she took them to a Buddhist temple instead. You'd expect the story to end well but here's the twist: The children refused to come down from their car. It was not a matter of her children not familiar with the new surrounding but it seemed that the Buddhist Sunday classes for children lacked attraction. No fun!

As for me, we have bad approch in the education. Everything has to be only fun, if no -it has to be refused. They do not understand: There is time for fun and there is time for serious things.

That's the sad thing everywhere. Why can't we just be serious and be happy about it?

This is just advanced training. But it would be really great if we could leve so.
