Go on and shoplift! Just take what you need and steal only from big national businesses! An Anglican priest, Rev Tim Jones(inset) advised people who are poor and desperate for cash. The Rev was of the opinion that stealing from successful shops was preferable to burglary, robbery or prostitution. The congregation at St Lawrence and St Hilda in York were stunned and most probably, you would be too! In Buddhism, it is stated very clearly in the Five Precepts, Adinnādānā veramaṇī sikkhāpadaṃ samādiyāmi, that thou should not steal. Now, would you probably wonder like I wonder, if a Buddhist monk would like the Anglican priest, try to be different?
