Noble Acts

When covid 19 hit the street, many people stay home; mostly because of the fear of the dreaded disease; and then, I realized that the street has been home to the homeless!  A poor Chinese man in Penang reportedly breathed his last because of the virus and then there is a report about Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow announcing that the state would be spending RM560,000 to turn a pre-war house into the island's s Homeless Transit Centre. Don't know what that really mean; like whether if the homeless will be there just during the virus season and will be back to the street when everything is over or if a permanent home will be found for them later. Thought that a noble cause anyhow since it at least give the homeless a temporary respite. In India,  the Christian Coalition for Health has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, offering facilities in over 1,000 Christian hospitals across India for coronavirus treatment. Another noble cause which calls for admiration. Now, I am wondering about Buddhist  contribution.
