Karma could be depressing if it's taken as some fate which one can't escape from. Sometimes, one comes across someone who seems determined to live a sad and pathetic life, claiming it to be due to some karma made in a past life that has to be lived through. That karma is made probably means too it can be altered. Karma already made need not have to bear fruits at least for now if we are mindful of our actions and attitude. Then, I was admiring the pomelo tree in the garden which has for years not bore a single fruit.
