Oh, when one see a picture like this, picture of monks screaming like excited teenagers on a rollercoaster, one would think that a monk's life is all too easy. I'm sure I've heard it all before; someone saying that a monk's life is easy; he doesn't have to work to earn his keep and the most he does each day is he chants. Most probably he doesn't preach like a Christian priest in a church although that wouldn't be too hard or strenuous. Devotees always look up to monks with respect; bowing; even kneeling humbly at their feet; and in modern times, they would ferry them to wherever they need to go; bringing them to posh restaurants even. A Buddhist monk actually has a set of rules to follow, the prātimokṣa or pātimokkha and I'm wondering if the rules allow room for them to have fun.
